Essentially, a vape mod is the bottom part of a vape kit – the chunky bit which houses the battery and other electrical components.

Cons
- Usually more expensive
- Don’t come with tank so that needs to be purchased separately
- More complicated meaning not ideal for beginners
Those are the main pros and cons of mods. Take these into consideration to weigh up whether a mod would suit your needs or not.

What Type of User to Vape Mods Suit?
Vape mods aren’t for everyone and would suit someone who’s looking to take more control by increasing the customisation of their vape.
Considering this, if you’re a beginner or someone with limited knowledge then these probably aren’t the best choice for you. Likewise, if you aren’t interested in further customising your vaping experience and would prefer things to remain as simple as possible then they’re probably not for you.
On the other hand, if you’re a bit more experienced and you like switching between different flavours and vaping techniques then a good-quality mod will be a great choice.
