FAQ

  • 10ml freebase e-liquid is legal to sell and buy in the UK when it meets the Tobacco and Related Products Regulations 2016. These rules cap nicotine strength at 20mg/ml, limit refill bottles to 10ml, and require every product to be notified to the MHRA before it goes on sale.

  • 10ml freebase nicotine is the untreated form of nicotine, which has a higher pH and hits a stronger throat at higher strengths. Nicotine salts are treated with an acid to lower the pH, producing a smoother hit and faster absorption.

  • Freebase nicotine e-liquid carries the same safety profile as any other TRPR-compliant vape product sold in the UK. Nicotine is highly addictive, but the NHS confirms it doesn't cause the cancers, lung disease or heart disease linked to smoking, and that vaping remains significantly less harmful than cigarettes.

  • Once opened, most freebase e-liquid stays at its best for around three to six months before oxidation starts to dull the flavour and nicotine strength. Keeping the bottle sealed between uses and storing it somewhere cool and dark, away from direct sunlight, helps it last toward the longer end of that window.
