50/50 Vape Juice

50/50 E Liquid is a balanced vape juice with an equal mix of 50% VG (Vegetable Glycerin) and 50% PG (Propylene Glycol). PG carries more flavour than VG, whereas VG creates thicker clouds of vapour. 50/50 vape juice gives you the best of both worlds and is super smooth.

We believe ours is the best 50/50 Vape Juice available. If you’re buying a 50/50 Shortfill bottle, make sure you grab one of our 50/50 Nic Shots to match the ratio mix. Want an even smoother vaping experience? Use our 50/50 Nicotine Salt Shots for the smoothest vaping experience you’ll ever have.

50/50 vape liquid is considered a High PG e-liquid, which therefore works best in low-powered devices with Plus Ohm Coils. While you can use 50 50 Vape Juice with pretty much any device, you’ll get the best flavour and cloud production from pod devices.

What is 50/50 Vape Juice?

50/50 e-liquid is a type of vape juice that has a 50/50 propylene glycol (PG): vegetable glycerin (VG) ratio. Due to there being more PG compared to 70/30 e liquid, 50/50 is naturally thinner, which makes it a good choice if you’re using plus-ohm coils. 50/50 vape juice is ideal if you’re using a lower-powered device or a starter kit, such as the Vaporesso XROS series, like the XROS 3, 4, and the Pro, Aspire’s Gotek series, and UWELL Caliburn Explorer kit

Does 50/50 E Liquid Contain Nicotine?

This depends on which e-liquid you buy. While some of the smaller bottles will come with nicotine already mixed in, such as our nicotine salt e-liquids, shortfill bottles contain no nicotine and you’ll receive your nicotine shots to add to the product once it arrives. If you’d rather your e liquid contains no nicotine and you don’t want the supplementary nicotine shots, just choose 0mg nicotine when you checkout.

Remember, when you select 3mg strength with your shortfills, you will receive 100ml of e-liquid and 2 nicotine shots at 18mg to make 120ml of 3mg strength e-liquid. When you choose 6mg nicotine strength, you will receive 80ml of 0mg e-liquid, and 4 nicotine shots at 18mg to create 120ml of 6mg nicotine strength e-liquid.

Why Would I Choose 50/50 Vape Juice?

When a person quits smoking and starts to vape, they are more likely to choose an affordable starter kit which will only produce a small amount of power to heat the liquid. The 50/50 e-liquid blend is thinner than the 70/30 counterpart and is much better suited for those devices.

What Wattage Should I Vape 50/50 E Liquid?

50/50 e liquid is not designed to be vaped at high temperatures. Vape 50/50 e liquid with the wattage turned up too high and you’ll probably find the harsh throat hit will be too intense. That’s why we’d advise you to vape it at no higher than 22w. If you’re looking for a vape juice for a high-powered, sub-ohm device then you’re much better using a 70/30 e liquid instead.

What Coil Should I Use with 50/50 E Liquid?

If you’re vaping 50/50 e liquid, you should be using a coil that’s at least 1-ohm (also known as plus-ohm coils). That’s because a plus-ohm coil will stop the thinner 50/50 e liquid from leaking, and the higher resistance will prevent it from getting too hot, which would be harsh on your throat given the higher proportion of PG.

50/50 E Liquid for switching from smoking

50/50 e liquid also balances flavour delivery with vapour clouds, making it a brilliant substitute for mouth-to-lung vaping (similar to smoking a cigarette). We would recommend choosing 50 50 e liquids for those using a starter kit, a low wattage e-cig such as the Endura, or for those who have just switched from smoking to vaping.

What is the Difference Between Nic Salts and 50/50 E Liquid?

Sometimes, nothing! That’s because some 50/50 e liquids are made with Nic Salts. E liquids that are made with Nic Salts as opposed to standard freebase nicotine are notably smoother, allowing you to vape stronger liquids but without the harshness you may experience with regular vape juice.

Are all Nic Salts 50/50?

Yes, all the Nic Salts we manufacture come in 50/50 ratio.

What is the Difference Between Max VG and 50/50?

The difference between these e liquids is the max VG will contain more vegetable glycerin (VG) which means it’ll be thicker and smoother, making it better-suited to sub-ohm kits.

Difference Between 50/50 and 70/30 E Liquid

One of the biggest differences in VG/PG balance in vape juice is the experience when you vape it. A stronger PG liquid will have a bigger ‘throat hit’, more akin to a cigarette. A strong VG liquid will produce a thicker vapour and vape clouds. A lot therefore come down to preference and what you are looking for in a vaping experience.

Some people are also more sensitive to PG or VG and will find different ratios more pleasant to vape, or suitable to their palette. The best thing to do is trial different flavours with different ratios and work out which one is the best for both you and your vaping device.
