CBD is no doubt one of the most talked about products on the market these days but not by suppliers or manufacturers, and here is why.
The Medicines & Healthcare products Regulatory Agency
The MHRA which is the governing body on CBD, has a long list of guidelines on what can and cannot be stated on CBD products including CBD Tinctures, CBD E-liquid, and other products that contain CBD.
Whilst there are numerous claims on the potential benefits of CBD, CBD is still classed as a food supplement and not a medicinal product, so we cannot treat it as such or make claims as such.
You can read our full guide on what can and cannot be said in this article.
What can be said about CBD?
CBD merchants in the UK ARE allowed to:
- Make claims to “maintain” “help to maintain” or “support” health, healthy bodily functions or organs
This limits retailers such as us from marketing CBD for the reasons that people may be taking it. We must rely on the general public’s knowledge of CBD and product reviews such as below.
